Content

The compulsory internship seminar for students of the Bachelor in Environmental and Bioresources Management (UBRM) is an integral part of the current bachelor curriculum.

This course comprises a preparation and a consecutive phase for the individual compulsory internship (total of four weeks which corresponds to a full-time equivalent of 160 hours).

Preparation phase:
(I) registration for this course at BOKUonline
(II) pre-registration of the compulsory internship, if necessary

Important note:
An internship pre-registration at the chairman of the Fachstudien-AG UBRM is only necessary
(I) if your company/organization is not in the list

(II) if you would like to do an internship abroad!

Consecutive phase:
Processing in the BOKUlearn course (self-enrollment without password):
(I) Upload the completed form and
(II) the internship certificate:
- Letterhead or - if not available - provided with the stamp of the company/organization (including name of the company/organization and address),
- Indication of the internship period and the number of hours worked,
- A description of the internship tasks,
- Legible (original) signature of the employer;
(III) And complete the internship questionnaire.
(IV) Uploads are regularly retrieved and processed. Therefore, no further steps are required on your part. If your assessment is positive, you will receive a grade on BOKUonline ("participated successfully").

The compulsory internship seminar serves to prepare and follow up the compulsory internship. Students are able to present the tasks which they carried out during the compulsory internship in a well-structured manner and to document the professional relevance.
