Throughout history, natural materials have always played an important role to human beings. Since the rise of synthetic materials, many natural materials have been replaced by synthetics. In this project, plant-based fibres are assembled with other natural materials such as wood to “all-natural” composites. Here, non-woven fleeces are produced, using different natural fibers in combination with plywood, with the obtained materials to be used in sport facility constructions, due to the high shock-absorbance capability.
