Guest Professor Tahseen Jafry

Professor Tahseen Jafry has Research and Development experience on natural resource management, agriculture, gender and policy development in 14 countries (Africa, Asia, Caribbean. She is a research project leader for international organisations including DFID, IFAD, World Bank, FAO, ILOManagement of multi-country complex consortia. She teaches both on the postgraduate and undergraduate courses on environmental sustainability and supervises thesis to doctorate level. Her interests include the management of natural resources in developing countries, the effects of climate change on agriculture (health, biodiversity, protection of the environment debates), consumerism and impacts of globalisation on environmental sustainability and gender and poverty targeting in the agricultural sector of developing countries.
