Sophie Thiel joins ARL working group on Gender and Spatial Transformation

Sophie Thiel (researcher at ILAP) has been accepted into the International Information and Initiative Group "Gender and Spatial Transformation" of the Academy for Spatial Development in the Leibniz Association (ARL).

 

After several months of contributing to the sub-working group "Intersectionality", Sophie Thiel - researcher and PhD student at ILAP - has been officially accepted into the iIIk "Gender and Spatial Transformation".

 

This international working group of the ARL started its work in February 2023 and focuses on the following topics:

  • Exploring the gender dimensions of socio-ecological crises

  • Identifying potentials for transforming research and practice

  • Operationalising gender in spatial transformation
