The study contents of the program are supported by online media.
»BOKU learn« provides a powerful and comprehensive virtual environment (Moodle), with a broad range of teach&learn tools: digital teaching notes, e-learning modules,exam units, group work tools, multimedia implementation etc.
Quality Management
Our continuing education programs are geared to BOKU's quality principles of university teaching, including the "3 pillars model" (integration of equivalent thematic shares from the domains of Technology/Engineering, Natural Sciences and Economic/Social/Legal Sciences). Continuous quality monitoring of our programs is a major concerns to us. The implementation of structured feedback tools are therefore integral parts of all programs. Furthermore, our competent and committed program management staff are at your service for all program-related concerns.
Application & Admission
Please familiarize yourself with the contents of the curriculum and carefully read our Terms & Conditions. By submitting your registration/application you give your consent to these as the contractual basis.
Restriction on Participation
The number of participants per program term is limited. In case the number of applications/registrations exceeds the maximim number of participants, ranking by qualification will decide (equality of qualification: date of application entry will decide). Additional admission interviews may be required.
Application and Admission Procedure
Please submit the following application documents by e-mail, using the link at "Submit Application"
(submission in paper form only as copies):
- curriculum vitae
- required certificates (vocational qualifications, higher cchool certificate / university entrance qualification)
- academic degrees
- statement of motivation: letter of particpation intent, why you wish to participate as well as your expectations (max. 2 pages A4)
- copy of valid identity document bearing a photo
- passport photograph
After verification of the submitted documents and (if required) an interview with the program director(s), the admission by the University Rectorate will be granted upon positive evaluation.

Program Completion / Certificate
Exam Regulations
Learning achievements are to be assessed by means of exams for the individual courses/classes. These will be taken in written or oral form as determined by the respective teachers in accordance with the ECTS extent. Thesis / final paper: a project paper based on scientific findings by which the students will demonstrate their competence of addressing a task/problem from the specific program field, in an autonomous way which is justifiable as far as content and methodology are concerned. The program will be considered completed succcessfully when all modules and the thesis have been assessed with a positive result.

Tuiton Fees (sum → Short Facts) include the costs for teaching notes as well as the mandatory student union fee (ÖH-Beitrag).
Fees will be invoiced according to the university regulations.
