The overall objective of the Quality Management Board is the continuous further development of the quality management system at BOKU, and the long-term establishment of a quality culture. The quality management system includes all performance areas at the university, as well as the central administrative and supportive levels. Quality culture refers to quality consciousness and quality-oriented behavior of the entire university, involving all of BOKU's staff members and students.
The Quality Management Board acts as a strategic committee and is responsible for managing and reviewing of the required measures to achieve its overall objectives. The implementation of the measures is executed through operational groups which consist of experts of the relevant fields.
