Research Interests:
- Researching anthropogenic Influences like pesticide usage, environmental pollution or climate change on different ecosystems, the biodiversity, and the resulting interdependencies.
- Establishment and practical usage of test methods for the research of the biological, chemical, and physical mechanisms of foreign substances and chemicals on suitable model organisms/ test systems.
- Researching possible advancements in waste management with focus on sorting methods in different waste streams and usage of advanced materials.
