Admission Process

for applicants with a degree from both EU and non-EU Universities

For study-entry October 2024 follow the steps outlined below and complete the application at BOKU and IHE Delft before the deadline of 1st June 2024 at the very latest!

Application Procedure Overview

In order to be admitted to the LWM programme you need to follow the 4 stage application procedure:

(1) Apply for academic admission via the BOKU IPGL application platform and at IHE Delft.

(2) With both letters of eligibility to confirm your academic admission, apply for the fellowships of your choice or find a different way of financing your studies. If you intend to apply for the ADC fellowship, make sure your application is complete by the deadline of 26th February 2024 at BOKU and 7th April 2024 at IHE Delft.

(3) Inform the BOKU IPGL office (ipgl(at)boku.ac.at) & IHE Delft (i.melis(at)un-ihe.org) about your plans for financing before the general admission deadline of 1st June to start the actual admission process at all participating universities.

(4) Be ready to provide the documents required for admission to BOKU IPGL upon request

 

Necessary Documents for Application / Admission

For evaluation of your academic eligibility for the programme, you will have to provide:

  • Completed and signed BOKU Application Form
  • Scan of passport (if not available, government ID or birth certificate)
  • Detailed CV (special emphasis on duration of employment and additional training)
  • 2 recommendation letters (preferably at least one from your employer)
  • Scan of certified copy of degree certificate/diploma (copy with a certifying stamp from your university or official authority that confirms its authenticity - check here to see if you need a fully legalized copy instead) plus scan of certified translation into English language, if the BSc certificate is issued in a different language
  • Scan of certified copies of all academic transcripts of all years of studies stating all study subjects/courses, credit points and marks/grades
  • Letter of motivation (max.1.5 pages)
  • Certified evidence of English language proficiency - if applicable

 

For final admission to the programme, you will have to provide:

  • ORIGINAL certified copy of degree certificate / diploma
  • ORIGINAL certified copies of all academic transcripts
  • Scan of passport (valid throughout the whole programme)
