Key aspects to be considered include skills, mobility, and gender issues, as well as the interaction between academia and industry.

The conference will highlight the roles of policy-makers, funders and businesses in research training, working together with universities and research institutions. The participants will gather for one-and-a-half days at the premises of the University of Trento, for a programme featuring high-level speakers that represent the wide range of stakeholders concerned.
