REMINDER: ÖGMBT Annual Meeting “Biomolecules in/for the 21st Century”
The program consists of three kick off days - 21-230920 - and 12 Life Science Tuesdays (from October 2020 – March 2021). In total we are presenting 13 Events - an article in Chemiereport 04/2020 describes the intentions behind the meeting.

The Life Science Tuesday #8 is around the corner - coming next Tuesday, 260121, 13:30-18:00. The schedule is filled with hot topics in “Infection and Immunity”. Sabine Kienesberger and Stefan Schild will guide you through the event as the chairs of next life science Tuesday.
The plenary lecture will be given by Christof R. Hauck (Universität Konstanz, DE) with the title „Microscale communication between bacteria and host tissue during mucosal colonization”.
After the plenary lecture the program is followed and enriched by 3 short talks and 5 science flashes with topics in the field. This afternoon session will end with presentation by scientific development manager at Twist Bioscience, Leonie Alten: “It's all about design: Use of next generation DNA libraries in drug discovery”.

This is the final call for abstracts for Life Science Tuesday #10: Omics Data Analysis & Integration
Abstract deadline: 290121
We invite abstracts for presentations in the area of all *omics technologies. These include e.g. (meta/epi)genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics. Also very welcome are submissions on data analysis, including bioinformatics, statistics and machine learning, and integration of heterogeneous omics data.
We invite short presentations for the software and database workshop. During these 5 minute talks, speakers present computational resources they have developed, such as software tools, webservers and databases. Online demonstration are particularly welcome during the workshop.
