FWF Stand Alone Projects: Application in PROFI-mode

Mit 20. März 2023 wird die Antragstellung von Einzelprojekten von einer Personenförderung auf eine Förderung über die Forschungsstätte (PROFI, bzw. von §26 auf §27 im UG) umgestellt. Für Einzelprojekte, die noch unter den derzeitigen Bedingungen (ad personam, §26) eingereicht werden sollen, muss der Einreichprozess in elane spätestens am 19. März abgeschlossen werden.

D. h., ab dem 20. März 2023 sind Einreichungen von Einzelprojekten unter ad personam ausschließlich für die folgenden Ausschreibungen bis zum Ende der jeweils angeführten Einreichfrist möglich:

netidee SCIENCE bis 100423

Projekte der Herzfelder-Stiftung bis 170323

Ersatzmethoden für Tierversuche bis 150523

Gottfried-und-Vera-Weiss-Preis bis 310523

Nach aktuellem Wissensstand wird der FWF den Forschungsstätten die Delegation der Einreichung von Neuanträgen direkt zum FWF durch die Forscher*in ermöglichen. In diesem Fall ist keine zentrale Freigabe in elane durch FoS-Projektsupport erforderlich, das zeitgerechte Einholen der BOKU-internen Freigabe via ePM ist natürlich dennoch notwendig

FWF Stand Alone Projects: Application in PROFI-mode

As of March 20, 2023, the submission of applications for Stand alone Projects will be changed from ad personam funding (§26 UG) to funding via the research institution (PROFI, §27 UG). For Stand alone Projects that are still to be submitted under the current conditions (ad personam, §26), the submission process in elane must be completed by March 19, at the latest.

This means that from March 20, 2023, submissions of Stand alone Projects under ad personam will only be possible for the following calls until the end of the respective submission deadline:

netidee SCIENCE until 100423

Projects of the Herzfelder Foundation until 170423

Replacement methods for animal experiments until 150523

Gottfried and Vera Weiss Prize until 310523

According to current knowledge, the FWF will allow research institutions to delegate the submission of new applications directly to the FWF by the researcher. In this case, no central approval in elane by FoS- Projektsupport is required, but it is still necessary to obtain the BOKU-internal approval via ePM in due time.
