New Identification numbers for FWF projects

Alle bewilligten FWF Projekte erhalten ab jetzt zusätzlich zur bestehenden Projektnummer eine weltweit einzigartige Grant-DOI.

Die Grant-DOI (Digital Object Identifier) ist ein persistenter Identifikator von Informationen zu Förderprojekten.

Forschende benützen diese Grant-DOI statt der bisherigen FWF-Projektnummer in ihren Outputs (Publikationen, Präsentationen etc.). Somit können Informationen über Forschungsprojekte künftig weltweit eindeutig und verlässlich zugeordnet werden.

Die Grant DOIs werden im neuen FWF Forschungsradar angeführt: Forschungsradar — FWF und bei Crossref registriert.

New Identification numbers for FWF projects

From now on, FWF introduces a new identification number for FWF-funded research projects.

All approved projects will be assigned a globally unique grant DOI (Digital Object Identifier).

Researchers are requested to cite this grant DOI instead of the previous FWF project number in their research output (publications, presentations, etc.).

This globally valid ID will allow this information to be clearly and reliably assigned to the respective research projects.

Grant DOIs are indicated on each project’s page on the Research Radar Webpage and will be registered in Crossref.
