INFoS: Das neue Forschungsinformationssystem FIS3+
Ich finde meine erfassten Datensätze nicht?
Im Unterschied zum alten System muss jeder Datensatz vom FIS-Team überprüft und validiert werden. Falsch oder unzureichend erfasste Datensätze werden vom FIS-Team an die Forscher*innen zwecks Korrektur zurückgespielt. Nur validierte Einträge sind öffentlich sichtbar und können für Auswertungen/Datenexporte berücksichtigt werden.
Wie merke ich, ob ein Datensatz unvollständig ist?
Die Startseite in der Datenerfassung dient als Dashboard. Dort findet man jene Datensätze, die zu korrigieren sind. Es ist zu beachten, dass das FIS-Team regelmäßig Datensätze kontrolliert, gleichzeitig aber auch Ressourcen für die Weiterentwicklung des Systems sowie den Ausbau neuer Funktionalitäten widmen muss.
Ich kann mich nicht ausloggen?
Die neue FIS verwendet wie alle anderen BOKU-Systeme ab sofort „Shibboleth“ als Login. Ist man im BOKU-Netzwerk eingeloggt, ist man auch im FIS eingeloggt. Ein Logout aus dem FIS hätte ein Logout auch aus anderen Systemen zur Folge. Einfach den Browser schließen.
Wie kann ich meine Daten exportieren?
Da das neue FIS auf Nachhaltigkeit Rücksicht nimmt und der ökologische Fußabdruck möglichst minimal sein soll, sollen die Forscher*innen ihre Listen in der Datenerfassung so zusammenstellen, wie sie diese z. B. für Projektanträge brauchen. Dafür bietet das neue FIS eine Reihe von Filtermöglichkeiten, die Listen können z. B. als Word-File exportiert werden.

I can't find the data records I entered?
Unlike the old system, every record must be checked and validated by the FIS team. Incorrect or inadequately entered data records are returned to the researchers by the FIS team for correction. Only validated records are publicly visible and can be taken into account for analyses/data exports.
How do I know if a dataset is incomplete?
The start page in the data collection serves as a dashboard. There you will find the data records that need to be corrected. It should be noted that the FIS team regularly checks data records, but also has to spend resources to the further development of the system and the expansion of new functionalities.
I cannot log out?
Like all other BOKU systems, the new FIS now uses ‘Shibboleth’ as login. If you are logged in to the BOKU network, you are also logged into FIS. A logout from FIS would also result in a logout from other BOKU systems. Simply close the browser.
How can I export my data?
As the new FIS takes sustainability into account and aims to minimize the ecological footprint, researchers should compile their lists in the data collection process in the way they need them for project applications, for example. The new FIS offers a range of filter options for this, and the lists can be exported as a Word file.
