Nature-inspired technologies and their applications across the life, mathematical, and physical sciences

Starting in 2013, the already 11th YSS is a one-day, international symposium that brings together early-career scientists - including undergraduate, Master's, and PhD students, as well as postdoctoral researchers and PIs - from Austria and neighboring countries. 

The program includes

  • Inspiring keynote lectures from leading experts
  • Contributed talks and poster sessions from students and postdoctoral researchers
  • Networking opportunities with scientists and industry

This event provides a unique platform for participants to showcase their work and engage in insightful discussions with an interdisciplinary audience. We expect over 300 attendees from across Austria and beyond, four distinguished keynote speakers, and industry partners from across Europe.
