The world’s leading award focused on technological innovations for a better life

The one-million-euro prize is awarded every two years for a groundbreaking technological innovation, with the next award ceremony slated for May 2027. The winning innovations are commercially viable and based upon ethically sound academic and scientific research. The present call for nominations is set apart from its predecessors by a change in evaluation criteria: now, the prize can be awarded to revolutionary innovations that have not yet been adopted worldwide commercially. 

We welcome nominations from organizations and individuals around the world and all fields of technology, except military technology. Nominators are encouraged to consider diversity when choosing the nominee(s).
