Online Sessions: Crafting a compelling ERC proposal - For Starters and Consolidators

On the wake of the upcoming ERC Starting and Consolidator Grant calls 2027, we would like to invite you to the following events in June:

The next ERCat3 online sessions, which provide a forum to discuss with ERC evaluators (panel members and remote evaluators) and grantees questions and challenges in preparing a competitive proposal. The sessions are structured around the scientific domains of the ERC, to reflect also aspects which may be more specific to certain fields of research. In both sessions, particular attention will be given to the evaluation process and what it means for the different parts of the proposal. The sessions last from 3 pm to 4:30 pm CET.

June 23, 2026: Focus on projects in the scientific domain Social Sciences and Humanities

June 25, 2026: Focus on projects in the scientific domains Physical Sciences and Engineering and Life Sciences

Furthermore, we will have our next ERC library afternoon on June 19, 2026, taking place at FFG's premises in Vienna, Sensengasse 1, from 3 – 5 pm. In a casual setting with some tea & coffee, we offer to read with us funded proposals from our ERC online library and discuss aspects which make a strong proposal, giving particular attention to the recent changes in the ERC proposal structure (not yet reflected in the online library).
