BOKU, Vienna cordially invites to its next staff training week taking place in Vienna, Austria, from May 13-17, 2019.

This week provides the opportunity to get to know more about BOKU, its sites and its international activities with a special emphasis on intercultural topics and international communication (e.g. social media). Furthermore, this staff week is combined with BOKU’s International Days and BOKU’s wine tasting event 2019.


Target group of the staff training week are colleagues working in International Offices from European universities but of course other administrative staff members who are interested in international affairs, intercultural exchange and communication are welcome too.

BOKU invites all participants to present their universities and to enrich this week by discussing current issues and topics in the field of International Relations. Therefore, all participants will be asked to send their topics of interest, presentations of their universities and folders or posters in advance to BOKU (deadline will be communicated on time).

English will be the language used throughout this week.

Participants should apply for Erasmus+ staff mobility funding at their home universities for joining this staff week in Vienna.

No registration fee will be charged, but please note: If you decide to cancel your application after March 15, 2019 and if you or we do not find someone else to take your place, we will ask you for an administrative fee of 50 Euros. Please keep in mind that we cannot waive this regulation as we are on a tight budget.
