This new program which begins in the spring of 2014 is a two-year master´s degree taught in English, the goal of which is to prepare highly qualified graduates capable of critically analyzing the situations arising in the fields of production, consumption or transportation of energy with regard to the related economic and political issues.
 
The curriculum of the program is developed around the analysis of the EU and Central Europe energy markets, impacts of the new trends in the energy sector, new actors at energy markets and dynamics of relations between the leading world producers, consumers, and transit countries. The lectures also focus on environmental, technical, economic, and legal aspects of energetics. The attention is also paid to theoretical approaches to the problem and research methods. Research and lectures are run by the leading experts from the Czech Republic, Central Europe, the USA, and other countries.
