The links between "place and health" have become a major concern of public policies (urban development, public health, reduction of social inequalities in health ...). This field requires the training of specialists and experts in order to enhance the level of knowledge (local health diagnoses, evaluating of policies and actions) and to assist public decision (taking account of local determinants health).

The course "Places, Cities and Health" within the master "Geography, Planning, Environment and Development" (University Paris Ouest Nanterre la Défense - University Paris Est Créteil) provides comprehensive training on this theme and relies on a broad network of partners. You will find attached a presentation of the master.

The participation to a studio class during the first semester allows students to be operational at the beginning of the second semester for their internship. If your organization is interested to host a master student, you can send your proposal of internship before December 2015 (training from February to June 2016).
