Registration for the 67th Australasian Grain Science Conference is open together with the submission of abstracts for presenting at the conference.

Attendees are encouraged to submit their abstracts early to confirm their presentation at the conference, and register at the earliest opportunity to take advantage of the early bird registration fees.

The 67th Australasian Grain Science Conference will bring together Australian, New Zealand and international scientific and technical experts under the theme ‘Grain Technology for Consumer Nutrition’. Scientific sessions will be focused around the topics:
•Grain Breeding
•Process Technologies
•Global Product Innovation
•Bioactive Components
•Dietary Fibres
•Starch Modification
•Dough Technology
•Consumer Perception
•Human Nutrition

High profile speakers have been invited to present keynote lectures, and contributed oral and poster presentations will be invited in these areas from March 2017. Regular updates of the program will be posted on the conference website: http://www.ausgrainscience.org.au/index.php/conference

The Conference will start on Wednesday 20 September and will conclude after lunch on Friday 22 September. A pre-conference ‘New Zealand Grains Symposium’ at Lincoln and post-conference ’Local Food Industry and Wine Producers Study Tour’ will be offered. A Welcome Reception on Wednesday evening 20 September and a Gala Dinner on Thursday evening 21 September are planned.
