Youth Climate Summit

In the framework of the International Conference on Climate Action (ICCA 2019) the “Institut für Energie- und Umweltforschung Heidelberg GmbH” is organizing a Youth Climate Summit in Heidelberg from 20 to 23 May 2019.

Young people from all over the world are invited to develop demands and solutions for fighting climate change and present them to political decision makers at the opening ceremony of the ICCA on the morning of the 22nd of May. Subsequently, the participants of the Youth Climate Summit will have the opportunity to participate at the workshops and sessions of the Climate Neighbourhoods (CN). At the CN stakeholders from Nongovernmental Organisations, municipal administrations and companies will discuss how locally successful strategies and initiatives can be scaled up in order to amplify the advances in protecting the climate.
