Call for proposals – Pilot VET mobility scheme

Set up student & staff exchange programmes with colleges in the Western Balkans, Turkey & Africa

The European Commission is launching a new initiative that will enable vocational education and training (VET) colleges in the EU to set up student and staff exchange programmes with colleges in the Western Balkans, Turkey and Africa.

The call for proposals states that a public or private VET organisation (or subsidiary/branch) active in the field of vocational education and training and legally registered in a European Union Member State or a legally registered consortium of public or private VET organisations registered in a European Union Member State is eligible to apply. This includes public and private education and training providers, including higher education institutions insofar as they are providing initial and continuous vocational and education and training. Consortia are understood to be two or more participating organisations teaming up to prepare, implement and follow-up a project or activity within a project. A consortium can be national or include different countries.

Besides student and staff mobility between colleges, these mobility partnerships will also share good practice in their countries and regions, and create networks and partnerships for exchange.

The results?

  • Exchange of ideas and techniques between regions
  • Better skills among VET teachers and learners
  • Improved VET management and training quality
  • Curriculum and training reform in colleges

Proposal submission deadline: May 14, 2019.
