International Teaching Staff Week, Germany

from December 2-6, at TU Clausthal

The main goal of the International Teaching Staff Week is to provide opportunities for university staff members and students to share and discuss common problems and experience in the field of simulation science for engineering.

The overall objectives and added value of the mobility are:

•    to broaden and enrich the range and content of courses at TUC
•    to allow students to benefit from the knowledge and expertise of academic staff from different countries
•    to promote the exchange of expertise and experience on pedagogical methods

The five-day program consists of workshops, meetings, teaching sessions in the field of simulation science, as well as social activities. Participants have the possibility to apply for Erasmus+ funding at their home universities.

For teaching staff, the week offers the possibility to give classes/lectures in the following fields:

•    Distributed Simulations: HPC Computing, Big Data Analytics, Multi-Level-Simulation
•    Cyberphysical Systems
•    Computational Material Science and Engineering: Atomistic and Monte Carlo Methods, Phase Field Modeling, Machine Learning Applications, Simulation of Granular Matter, Computational Fluid Dynamics

Application deadline: 1 October, 2019.

If you want to apply for ERASMUS+ teaching staff mobility support, please check the website and contact Mag. Gudrun Reisinger for further information on ERASMUS+ Staff mobility funding.
