Industrial Post-doc position in Paris
Since the application for the Marie Curie Individual Fellowships 2020 opened recently, a person who might be interested in submitting a post-doctoral project with Elvesys, a microfluidics innovation center in Paris.
The grant specifically aims at financing innovative research projects with an emphasis on enhancing career perspectives of the candidates. Of note, candidates from any nationality and any age willing to develop a project in Europe are eligible for this application.
This funding will result in a two-year post-doctoral appointment in the headquarters in Paris. The selected candidate will conduct innovative research in microfluidics (i.e. droplets generation, encapsulation, organ-on-chip, etc.) while receiving training in industrial soft skills and marketing techniques. The company, Elvesys, is a young biotech company specializing in flow control for microfluidics. Importantly, the company also places a strong focus on promoting entrepreneurial skills of their research fellows.
