Erasmus+ Weeks in third-country regions
The first Erasmus+ Week takes place in in Sub-Saharan Africa, organized by EACEA, with the support of the EU Delegation to South Africa. Three others are taking place soon afterwards in other regions (more below); As part of this initiative, a Regional Cluster and Contact-Making Meeting will take place on 11 and 12 October 2023 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The event will be hybrid (in-person and online).
The Regional Cluster Meeting will provide a forum for Erasmus+ project beneficiaries and stakeholders for knowledge-sharing and exchange of experiences. Contact-making sessions will enable networking among experienced and newcomer organisations from the different countries in the region, as well as from the EU and countries associated to the Erasmus+ Programme, interested in project cooperation. Sub-Saharan Africa is the first of four Erasmus+ weeks in 2023 with a similar format that combines ENFP training with promotion and cluster meetings. Dates and venues for the others are tentatively:
- Asia – Pacific (Hanoi) – week of 27 November
- Latin America and Caribbean (Panama) – week 16/20 November
- Middle East (Oman) - beginning of November (smaller cluster, to be combine with EUD event).
