APPEAR Project on the Vjosa river in Albania

More than 70 experts from academia, civil society, and government, including a representative from the OeAD, gathered in Tirana, Albania. They discussed the progress of the APPEAR Project VjoSusDev, focusing on the Vjosa River Basin. Organised by the University of Tirana, NAPA, Euronatur, and Ecoalbania, the workshop presented recent data, best practices for conservation, and sustainable development strategies. This event emphasized the importance of collaboration for the Vjosa National Park, Europe’s first Wild River National Park.
