On 4 July 2024, the European Commission published the call for proposal "Specialised Education Programmes in Key Capacity Areas" (DIGITAL-2024-ADVANCED-DIGITAL-07-KEYCAPACITY) on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal. This topic is intended to help train an additional 20 million ICT specialists by 2030. Funding is provided for the design and implementation of university programmes (bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree courses) and associated independent modules for:

  • Specialised educational programmes for the development of advanced digital skills in key areas: Virtual Worlds, Edge Computing, Quantum Computing, Photonics and Robotics and Automation
     
  • Interdisciplinary programmes aimed at acquiring advanced digital skills in specific sectors related to the green transition: Agriculture, Transport, Renewable Energy and Waste Management
     
  • Interdisciplinary programmes aimed at acquiring advanced digital skills for the following sectors: Government and public sector

Deadline for submission: 21 November 2024, 5pm
