Eurasia-Pacific-Uninet Call

The Eurasia-Pacific Uninet (EPU) was established in 2000 with the objective of creating an educational network for Austrian universities, universities of applied sciences and educational institutions in Central Asia, East Asia and the Pacific area. It comprises a great number of international partners of all fields of research and supports projects in the areas of research, research-based teaching and art as well as technology cooperation. The projects are funded completely by funds of the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF).

Target group: Only scientists at Austrian EPU member institutions can submit project applications.

Requirements: The projects must be carried out on the basis of bilateral or multilateral partnerships. Project partners: at least one foreign EPU member institution. The project can only be carried out in countries in which EPU member institutions are situated. Projects last one year.

Subject areas: Technology, natural sciences, medicine, agricultural sciences, environmental sciences, economic sciences (including tourism research), humanities and social sciences, art and music.

Funding sum: The funds serve exclusively to cover travel and accommodation costs. The amount of the funding depends on the individual projects. For details, please refer to the new EPU funding regulations.
