International Master programmes NARMEE, SIFC, IMaHS
International master programmes at BOKU University are study programmes jointly offerd by BOKU University and international partner universities. In these study programmes, the participating universities combine their expertise and their focus areas. Students choose from a wide range of lectures at at least two different universities (depending on the programme). Most of the programmes offer joint or double degree. The language of instruction is English (unless stated otherwise).
For some international master programmes at BOKU application deadlines are approaching. Please promote the programmes to students that might be interested and make them aware of the application deadline with the following information:
- IMaHS - Horticultural Sciences
The international master’s programme of Horticultural Sciences focuses on the supply chains in horticulture, fruit growing and viticulture. Processing and product quality, horticultural quality management as well as marketing and nutrition aspects are the prevailing demands on research and teaching.

- NARMEE - Natural Resources Management and Ecological Engineering:
The Master of Natural Resources Management and Ecological Engineering is a two-year master programme combining both examination and thesis. Students are required to study at two universities, and will finish with a joint degree (BOKU-CZU) or a twinned degree (BOKU-LU), offered within the ELLS network (Euroleague for Life Sciences)!

- SIFC - Safety in the Food Chain
This international Master programme was developed to provide a profound academic MSc programme concerning all areas of food safety. It offers a high-level study course by combining all the existing expertise of European universities, offered within the ELLS network (Euroleague for Life Sciences)!
