Training & Cooperation Activity (TCA), Sweden


7-10 October 2025 in Stockholm | Application deadline: 5 June 2025

The focus is on the advantages of global perspectives in teacher training, intercultural learning and the challenges that currently stand in the way of greater mobility participation. Expert input, exchange formats and practical examples will be used to develop solutions and initiate new partnerships. The seminar is aimed at teachers, Erasmus+ coordinators and teacher training specialists who are interested in promoting international mobility.

Focus areas for the content of the program: 

  • The importance of Internationalisation and Mobility in Teacher Education:
    Spark a discussion on the importance of internationalisation and mobility among teachers and teacher students by inspirational speaker/-s. An introduction with a general outlook, to our increasingly interconnected world and the upcoming priorities of competitiveness and sustainable competitiveness within KA1, emphasizing the need for a skilled and adaptable workforce. Internationalisation in teacher education involves integrating global perspectives into the curriculum, foster inter-cultural understanding and preparing teachers to educate students from diverse backgrounds. This will enhance the quality of education and equip future generations with the skills needed. This also aligns with the broader goals of creating resilient and forward-thinking educational systems.
     
  • Challenges and solutions:
    Address the identified challenges and possible solutions to increase mobility among teacher students and teachers, as identified by the Working group Inter-Agencies Erasmus+ ‘European mobility of future teachers, teachers and trainers’, 2022-2023.
