Bilateral Joint Research Projects/Seminars FY2026

Program outline: The program supports sustained networks of bilateral research teams (etc.) evolved from individual scientist exchanges. JSPS provides financial support to excellent Japanese scientists, including young scientists, implementing such bilateral joint research projects and seminars with research teams from counterpart countries.

2. Open Partnership Joint Research Projects/Seminars
   This is open to researchers from all countries that have diplomatic relations with Japan, as collaborating researchers from the counterpart country. Only the Japanese-side researcher is required to apply to JSPS, and expenses can only be covered for the Japanese-side researcher.
