Guest professor Ching Hung

Professor Ching Hung from the National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, will visit the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering in April-May 2025, and teach the course 873021 "Creative Design in Geotechnical Engineering". You are warmly welcome to participate!

The course “Creative Design in Geotechnical Engineering” aims to explore design principles and creative thinking in geotechnical engineering, equipping students with critical thinking skills to develop innovative, community-driven solutions. Through case studies, numerical and empirical tools, AI applications, and hands-on experience, students will refine their technical expertise while integrating creative problem-solving approaches. Students will develop and present a personalized design-thinking framework to tackle future challenges.
