IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Dear students!

In the academic year 2021/2022, we are endeavoring to enable significantly more face-to-face operations than in the previous year. The primary goal is still the safety and health of all BOKU members. In terms of planning, the following rules apply (as of October 1st 2021):

* BOKU generally applies the 3G rule to protect everybody,
* It applies at all BOKU locations without exception.
* FFP2 masks are mandatory in all public places (e.g.: corridors, etc.).

The lecture will take place in seminar room 05/08 in the 5th floor of MUG1/DBT.

Production of recombinant antibody derivatives

Inhaltliche Voraussetzungen (erwartete Kenntnisse)

students should have passed already the examination cell factories but at least need knowledge about generation of recombinant cell lines and propagation of cell culture

Lehrziel

After having passed the course the students are able
- to transform their scientific knowledge for the development of biological therapeutics
- to assess development strategies and critically evaluate the quality demands of products
- to rank the scale of the production effort for up-stream, down stream and formulation procedures
- to explain data gained by in vitro studies and propose the products behaviour in vivo.
