The following topics will be covered:
*) Procedure, content and requirements for a master thesis and a defensio at BOKU
*) Graphical abstract and summary of the planned master thesis
*) Presentation and defense of intermediate and final results in front of an audience
*) Organizational procedure of a Defensio at BOKU
Inhaltliche Voraussetzungen (erwartete Kenntnisse)

The following skills are expected:
*) Proper citation of literature
*) Basic knowledge of researching and summarizing scientific literature
*) Basic knowledge of the structure of a scientific paper
Lehrziel

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
*) outline the process of completing a master thesis at BOKU.
*) describe the relevant sections of a master thesis (scientific publication).
*) graphically and verbatim summarize the objectives and results of a scientific work.
*) present and defend intermediate and final results in front of a diverse audience.
*) question results and presented facts as part of an audience.
