This course will provide doctoral candidates with an overview of legal issues concerning emerging technologies, in particular biomaterial-technologies.

At the end of the seminar, students are able
– to identify legal instruments governing emerging technologies, in particular biomaterial-technologies,
– to analyse and debate legal issues concerning the use of new technologies, and
– to evaluate and assess regulatory measures.
