An introductory as well as organisational meeting for this lecture-seminar will be held on March 4, 2025, at 10 AM via Zoom:

The seminars will be held in person on the 3rd of June, from 9-17h, in the small seminar room on the 5th floor of DBT in the building Muthgasse1 (MUGI /05-10, also called SR 52).


Each unit will consist of a seminar and extensive discussion as well as lecture selected topics, which will be listed on BOKU learn.
The presentations are planned for 15 min with 5 min discussion. The structure: please study the topic and fell supported with the literature provided, but you are not restricted or bound to it. You are welcome to propose and present your own topics, only please share your thoughts with us ahead of the presentation.

Lehrziel

Successful participants will be able to:
-give an overview of the current situation in the antibody engineering field, including current most successful antibody-based therapies and future trends
-comment on the various classes of targets of therapeutic antibodies in the last decades
-compare the mode of activity of various therapeutic antibodies
-defend the importance of armoured antibodies (ADCs, CARs)
-outline the differentiation of bispecific antibodies and Fc fusions
- communicate their views to peers (colleagues) in a constructive discussion
- cooperate with colleagues in delivery and evaluation of individual presentations
