Within this course, students work in interdisciplinary teams on challenges in the context of sustainable development and transformation. Following an entrepreneurial approach, they collaborate with a practice partner (intrapreneurship) or focus on their individual topic (entrepreneurship). They develop a solution to a specific problem from an idea into a viable project or business plan. Participating students will have the opportunity to exchange with practice partners (e.g., NGOs, public administration and politics, companies, consultants) on practical issues of societal and economic transformation.

After completing this course, students will be able to identify and seize opportunities based on their understanding of sustainability-driven entrepreneurship and its relation to transformation. They can define methods to develop circular design solutions as well as methods to measure societal impact and classify their relevance related to ecological, social and economic criteria. Students can estimate the relevance of intellectual property and name and qualify possible sources for financing sustainable ventures.
