a) how to pretreat a sample for protein identification
b) the operation of a mass spectrometer (certainly ESI-MS, maybe MALDI-MS)
c) methods of data interpretation
d) principles of metabolomic analysis by GC-EI/CI-MS and LC-ESI-MS
