This course covers the fundamentals of weather and climate. It surveys atmospheric, structure, dynamics and energy balance, and explores large- and meso-scale weather phenomena. The course details the fundamentals of planetary climate and the processes behind contemporary anthropogenic climate change.

Students will obtain a foundation and understanding of the fundamentals of weather and climate as base for further exploration in atmospheric and climate science
