Seminar Talk: Probability and Biomath
Yann Moinard has been an intern at our institute for the last 3 months as part of his Master's program at ENS Paris-Saclay. This will be his farewell talk, in which he gives an overview of what he has been researching on in the last months.
“On flight representation in lattices”.
Abstract:
Siegmund duality has been well studied in the literature because it
for instance gives precisions for the convergence rates of an ergodic
Markov chain to its stationary distribution. For totally ordered sets
this property is equivalent to having a flight representation. In this
talk we give constructions in some particular cases of partially
ordered set to create flight representations and try to provide
another perspective on Siegmund duality including the constructivist
and geometrical points of view.
