New Presenting in English

Target Group:

scholars and scientists who are about to present and would like some feedback on their presentation; also for persons who attended a presentation workshop a few years back.

Objectives:

Getting to know your English presentation persona: its strengths and its 'room for change' potential. Practising your skills and improving them in a supportive setting. Enjoying presenting as a welcome alternative to researching and administering.

Content:

What makes for a successful presentation? Presenting terminology and phrases. Focusing on the main message. Bring your own presentation to practise (optional!)

Mag. Swantje Cooper Swantje Cooper, grew up in Austria and Turkey, studied in Austria and the U.S. 1992
graduation Mag. phil. English/ Spanish Interpreting. Project management for EU projects
in the area of mobility management. Translator and interpreter. Adult education trainer
since 1998, lecturer at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna
since 2002.
