The course is addressed to female first stage researchers (before dissertation and with completed master's degree) and female postdocs.

The course on 4 of December takes place in cooperation with the Vienna University of Technology. For organizational reasons, there will be a mutual exchange of participant lists including e-mail addresses between BOKU and TU Vienna. By registering, you agree to this procedure.

Objectives:

Reflect on current challenges for women in male domains and get an idea about how to deal with it.

Content:

Women in male domains like STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) or leadership roles are still having a minority status and face challenges. This seminar should streghten you to persue your career confidently. Besides theoretical input we will have enough time for exchange of experience and networking.

Methods:

Short input in plennary sessions
Reflection and discussion in small groups

Group size: max. 18 participants

PE261W24: The workshop on the 3 of December will take place at the TU Vienna. You will be informed about the exact location.
PE26W24: The workshop on the 4 of December will take place online via ZOOM.

Dr.in Martina A. Friedl
holds a PhD in Chemistry and has a professional background in science and at an international management consultancy. She has undergone advanced training in systemic coaching, systemic organizational consulting and systemic family therapy. Since 2010 she is active nationally and internationally as a freelance management consultant, trainer and career coach.
