The in-person session addresses BOKU researchers, FIS representatives. 
The online session addresses all BOKU staff members. 

For the online session participants must have authorization for data collection. Please bring your own laptops; Eduroam must be set up!

Objectives:

The course is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of BOKU’s new research information system, FIS3+, and the associated requirements. By the end of the course, users should know what to look out for when entering new data, how to record research output as efficiently as possible, how to identify incorrect entries, and how to correct them. 

The motto for the in-person session is “learning by doing”: Participants will be able to record their own research achievements or those of their staff on-site together with the FIS team.

At the in-person session there will be on-site recording of research output with support and guidance from the FIS team

Group size: max. 8 participants (on site), max. 30 participants (online)

The workshop on the 11.12.2026 will take place at meeting room Cieslarhaus/ 03/05, Peter-Jordan-Straße 70, 1190 Vienna.
The workshop on the 29.01.2027 will take place online via ZOOM.
