- My work lies at the intersection of social sciences and nutrition. My research experience spans more than 20 years, mainly in sub-Saharan Africa. Areas of work: human right to adequate food and nutrition, gender, intersectionality, women’s rights, food and nutrition security, sustainable diets and food systems, sustainable livelihoods approaches, governance of natural resources. I apply gender-transformative, rights-based, feminist, participatory and transdisciplinary approaches, in collaboration with civil society organisations and local actors in the co-conceptualisation of research. I worked as consultant for various civil service organizations, in the fields of nutrition and consumer counselling and livelihoods of smallholder farmers.
