Girl's Day at BOKU 2023

BOKU - also called the University of Life Sciences and Sustainability - is a diverse place of learning, research and experimentation.

On April 27, daughters, granddaughters, nieces and their friends between the ages of 11-16 were invited to experience a slice of this diversity at their relatives' workplace.

Girl's Day is an initiative to provide perspectives in the orientation phase of career direction. The focus here is primarily on those areas in which the proportion of women tends to be low - such as technical, scientific and engineering disciplines and departments.

This year's Girl's Day took place at Türkenschanze.
