Authentication is performed using the 802.1X standard, which ensures data security through end-to-end encryption of the access data. Eduroam works on all currently available operating systems that support the 802.1X standard.

The authentication is done via your BOKU login name with the attached domain name @boku.ac.at
Login/UserID: BOKU-login-name@boku.ac.at
Anonymous identity: anonymous@boku.ac.at
Password: specific password for eduroam
Domain: boku.ac.at
