Four master's programmes on the topics of environmental management, landscape architecture, environmental engineering and water management will be presented, with BOKU graduates talking about their experiences during their studies and their work for the City of Vienna.

You can ask questions and plan your entry into the working world of the City of Vienna in person at information stands with representatives of the City of Vienna.

Each master's programme will be presented on 12 November 2025 in Seminar Room 29 at Ilse-Wallentin-Haus, Peter-Jordan-Straße 82, 1180 Vienna. The event will start at 1 p.m. and end at 6 p.m. with a networking reception.

Landscape planning and landscape architecture

1pm - 2pm

The German-language Master's programme in Landscape Planning and Landscape Architecture deals with the planning, design and maintenance of landscapes in urban and rural areas. It focuses on harmonising natural resources with human needs in accordance with the principle of sustainability.

The lecture will be held in German. 

Environmental and biological resource management

2pm - 3pm

The German-language Master's programme in Environmental and Bio-Resource Management will give you a deeper understanding of how to develop a sustainable society that can thrive in the future, which needs to find a new perspective on the use of natural resources in times of climate change. In addition to insights into the natural sciences, the programme also offers in-depth study of economics and social sciences.

The lecture will be held in German. 

Watermanagement and Environmental Engineering

3pm – 4pm

The English-language Master's programme in Water Management and Environmental Engineering deals with water as a resource that is the basis of all life. The use, protection and distribution of water, as well as preparation for its future management, are central components of this programme.

The lecture will be held in English.

Cultural engineering and water management

4pm – 5pm

The German-language Master's programme in Cultural Engineering and Water Management focuses primarily on water and soil resources. By imparting knowledge in the natural sciences, technology and engineering, the programme aims to enable the planning and design of infrastructure required for the use of water and soil.

The lecture will be held in German.
