Dr. Shi Yan was previously leader of the project "Biosynthesis of helminth N-glycoproteins in insect cells" - which is a collaboration with the University of Veterinary Medicine. He now joint leader of a Top-Vet-Science project “Glycoengineered Recombinant Proteins as Vaccine Candidates against Haemonchus contortus” funded by the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna. After his MSc in Suzhou, China, he did his PhD at the BOKU as part of the Euroglycanarrays ITN.
