Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) - Angebote

The BIP summer school will explore innovations in the food production systems, sustainability, and agriculture in urban environment. It will be delivered in cooperation with the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, and the University of Life Sciences "King Mihai I" from Timisoara, Romania.

During the online and on-site activities, participants will learn about sustainable agriculture, urban gardening, food waste reduction, resource efficiency, local sourcing, biodiversity, community engagement, policy support and local food initiatives. The summer school topic will emphasize innovative practices and policies that promote environmentally friendly food production and consumption within urban environments. Participants will engage in discussions on community engagement, social equity in food access, and the role of technology in creating resilient food systems. Emphasis will be also put on the issues of food production in new conditions caused by climate change and on ecological aspects of urban agriculture. Overall, in Osijek, the greenest Croatian city, participants will gain insights into how to foster a more sustainable and equitable food future in greener cities.

This BIP will host both students and university teachers, as well as experts from real sector and community representatives.

• for Teachers: Unlocking Imagination! (3 ECTS) – Application deadline 16/03/2025 - Physical component from 19/05/2025 to 23/05/2025
  
  Participants should use Erasmus+ staff mobility grants for this mobility. Once the participant apply, the Invitation Letter will be issued within 3 working days form IBP.

The following BIPs are offered at Universitat Rovira i Virgili for BOKU staff members:

During these BIPs, the attendees will undertake a short-term mobility to the URV in Tarragona (Spain), which will be combined with a virtual component (3 June 2025), facilitating collaborative online learning exchange and teamwork.

From 31 March to 4 April 2025, the University of Primorska will host a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) focused on exploring and advancing student engagement initiatives.

Participants will engage in a two-part programme:

• Virtual component: A preparatory session at the end of February 2025 to set the stage for collaboration and discussions.
• In-person programme in Koper: An immersive, interactive experience including:
  • Interactive workshops: Design peer mentoring models, explore conflict resolution strategies, and create effective ESN chapters.
  • Campus tour: Discover engagement spaces with guidance from student leaders.
  • Roundtables and panels: Learn about best practices in supporting international and local student communities.
  • Networking events: Collaborate and exchange insights with colleagues and students from UP and partner universities.  

This event is ideal for international offices, leaders involved in student engagement initiatives, coordinators of student tutors and professionals interested in advancing student engagement strategies.
