The BIP “Developing AI-Based Learning Materials in STEM” is designed to equip educators with practical AI tools and techniques for developing STEM learning materials. Participants will gain insights into emerging trends and advancements in AI while learning how to effectively integrate these tools into their daily work to enhance teaching and learning processes.
The course will cover topics such as prompt engineering, creating learning materials based on big data analysis, chatbot development, AI-powered image generation, and 3D visualization for technical disciplines.

The 3rd edition of DS-FOOD summer school on “Design of sustainable food systems” arises from the growing attention that the issue of sustainability of food systems has gained at the international level. It will be held in the framework of a Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme with a virtual component on 19 June 2023 and a physical mobility.
The Farm-to-Fork strategy launched by the European Union in 2020 brings agri-food issues to the heart of the European Green Deal, pushing for a transition of food systems towards a condition of sustainability that can lead to environmental, social, and economic benefits. This approach aims to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (especially SDG 12: sustainable production and consumption).
The programme is organised by University of Tuscia (Viterbo, Italy), in partnership with Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (Uppsala, Sweden), University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (Wien, Austria), Harokopio University of Athens (Greece), and Münster University of Applied Sciences (Germany). The summer school will be held at the UNITUS Alpine Studies Centre, located in the small village of Pieve Tesino, in the Dolomites of Trentino, Italy.

The “Green.Building.Solutions.” Summer University (GBS, 7 ECTS) is an academic training, specializing on first-hand ecological knowledge and engineering expertise. Participants from all over the world and various backgrounds deepen their knowledge in passive house planning, sustainable urban development, new energy technologies, innovative architecture and ecological design approaches together with experts in workshops, excursions and lectures.
Date: 15 July – 6 August 2023.
Learning objectives:
- Understand the origin of resources and the respective use as well as the integration in buildings
- Learn about the relationships between buildings and their context
- Create an understanding for the necessity of interdisciplinary cooperation to realize green building strategies
Content:
The GBS program follows a holistic and modular approach. Based on its curriculum, it comprises 7 ECTS in the form of three main topics:
- Sustainability in Building and Urban Planning
- Principles of Passive House planning
- Renewable Energies and Business Concepts

Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme, Slovenia / Exploring and advancing student engagement initiatives / 31 March – 4 April 2025 at University of Primorska | Application deadline: 31 January 2025
From 31 March to 4 April 2025, the University of Primorska will host a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) focused on exploring and advancing student engagement initiatives.
Participants will engage in a two-part programme:
- Virtual component: A preparatory session at the end of February 2025 to set the stage for collaboration and discussions.
- In-person programme in Koper: An immersive, interactive experience including:
- Interactive workshops: Design peer mentoring models, explore conflict resolution strategies, and create effective ESN chapters.
- Campus tour: Discover engagement spaces with guidance from student leaders.
- Roundtables and panels: Learn about best practices in supporting international and local student communities.
- Networking events: Collaborate and exchange insights with colleagues and students from UP and partner universities.
